hotel & Reservation Policy

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in time is after 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. 

GUARANTEE POLICY

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid major credit or bank card at the time of reservation. Based on the rate booked, the card may be charged a deposit to hold the room. 

DEBIT CARDS & CREDIT CARDS

Guests must present a valid major debit or credit card for payment upon arrival, which will serve as an acknowledgment that their debit or credit card used for check-in will be charged for the balance of the guest room fees, taxes, and any fines incurred throughout their stay.  It is important to keep in mind that any additional funds may be held by the guest's financial institution for up to 21 days post-check-out.  The credit card owner must be present at the time of check-in. Should you require alternate payment methods please contact the hotel directly prior to arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Unless otherwise stated in the booking process, the hotel requires cancellations to be made at least 48 hours prior to the reservation arrival date. Failure to cancel prior to 48 hours in advance will result in a penalty equal to one night's room and tax.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to occupy a guestroom with a valid state or federal government issued identification.

TAXES & FEES

All reservations are subject to city, state, county, lodging taxes and any other fees mandated by law at the time of check-in. 

100% SMOKE-FREE HOTEL

Inn at Otter Crest and our guestrooms are 100% smoke-free.  By using the guest room key, guests acknowledge that a daily $350 cleaning fee will be charged in the event a guest or visitor chooses to smoke or vape in the hotel room, hotel balcony or indoor public space.  There is a designated smoking area on the property. 

LIABILITY

Inn at Otter Crest cannot be held responsible for any lost money, jewels, or other valuables. We also have no liability for items left in guest rooms, public areas or vehicles. By using the guest room key, guests acknowledge that they are responsible for payment and agree to be held accountable if the designated person, company, or association fails to pay for any portion of the charges, including any damages done by guests or their visitors to hotel property.

 

PET POLICY

Inn at Otter Crest offers limited Pet-Friendly rooms and suites for our guests traveling with their four-legged family members (dogs only please). If you are bringing your dog, please call the hotel directly to request a pet-friendly designated room. Pets are not allowed in every room type, pool area or the fitness center.  Pets incur a $35.00 per pet nightly fee.

​​To ensure all our guests enjoy their stay, we ask that all pet owners observe the following guidelines: 

  • Only dogs are permitted

  • Pets must be leashed at all time while on the property, outside of designated fenced pet areas.

  • Pet owners must pick up pet waste

  • Pets are never to be left unattended in Guest Rooms or anywhere on the property. While they may be comfortable alone at home, in a new environment, they often get agitated. Violation of this policy may result in a fee equal to one night’s lodging.

  • Our guests appreciate the serene setting here at the resort.  A notice will be given if complaints for excessive pet noise occurs. If the noise continues, the guest may be asked to leave or may be assessed a fine by the hotel. 

  • Only specific rooms are Pet- Friendly. For the safety and respect of our guests with pet allergies, pets are not allowed in non-pet rooms at any time. Any violation of this will result in a $250 fine.

  • If your pet likes to relax on the furniture, please request a pet sheet from the Front Desk to cover the furniture and minimize the amount of pet hair left on the furniture.  Excessive pet hair or other pet damage may result in an additional cleaning fee.

  • Pet owners are fully responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
