Discover the Natural Beauty of Otter Crest
Where Forest Meets the Sea
Tucked along the rugged Oregon Coast, Inn at Otter Crest is more than a place to stay — it’s a place to slow down, wander, and reconnect with nature.
Surrounded by towering evergreens, coastal blooms, and winding forest paths, the property is home to a rich variety of native plants that change with the seasons. Whether you’re exploring on foot or simply taking in the view from your room, nature is always just outside your door.
A Coastal Forest,
Right Outside Your Door
Step into a landscape shaped by the Pacific Northwest.
Our grounds are filled with some of the region’s most iconic trees, including Western Hemlock, Sitka Spruce, and Western Red Cedar, creating a peaceful canopy that filters light and carries the scent of the coast.
These towering evergreens, along with Red Alder and coastal pines, give Otter Crest its signature sense of calm — a quiet forest setting just steps from the ocean.

Blooms That Signal the Season
Spring and early summer bring bursts of color to the landscape.
Look for Pacific Rhododendrons in bloom, along with Western Azalea, wild huckleberry, and salmonberry dotting the trails. These native plants create a vibrant understory that feels both wild and welcoming.
Throughout the property, thoughtfully landscaped gardens add even more color, with seasonal favorites like hydrangeas, foxglove, iris, and camellias bringing texture and life to every corner.
Wander Through Layers of Green
Beyond the blooms, the forest floor is alive with lush greenery.
Ferns like sword fern, maidenhair, and deer fern line the trails, creating soft, quiet pathways perfect for a morning walk or an afternoon pause.
It’s a place where every step invites you to slow down — to notice the details, the textures, and the rhythm of the coast.
